At the ICC Conference in 2001, ICC chose to meet again in 2002 with the Illinois Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages in Springfield. However, ICTFL chose not to give ICC members a break on the registration fee unless the members were also members of ICTFL. Given that ICTFL is a more expensive conference to start, this dual membership requirement made meeting with ICTFL less attractive. ICC President Jane Borelli did a quick email survey of Advisory Council members et alii and determined that ICC should accept Tom Sienkewicz’ generous reopening of the offer to meet for 2002 at Monmouth

Tom has blocked 30 rooms at the Monmouth Inn and Suites( 309-734-0909) and at  Super 8 Hotel (309-734-8558) in Monmouth for ICC. The dates had to be changed from ICC’s traditional Columbus Day weekend because that weekend is Monmouth’s Homecoming.
