I am currently a PhD candidate in Classical Studies at Indiana University.  My interests range across the spectrum from archaeology and history to folklore and mythology.  When I'm not writing, researching, or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son and training for my next race.  My dream is to be the first Classicist to complete the Spartathlon.
