The Capron Clsssics Room at Monmouth College
In 1987 Mr. Keith Capron, who had
already endowed a Classics chair in memory of his mother, provided some
funds to create a dedicated classroom in Wallace Hall for the teaching
of Classics, with appropriate interior decorations and state-of -the-art
audio-visual equipment. At the time "state-of-the-art" meant a televion,
VCR, slide projector and a 20-ft. projection screen. In 998 the college updated this classroom with the
addition of computer-projection capabilities.
