A Summary
Symilus arises early in the morning.
He lights a lamp.
He gets some grain for breakfast from the storeroom.
He mills the grain.
He wakes Scybale up.
She stirs the fire and heats some water.
He mixes the flour and prepares some cakes.
While the cakes are cooking, he gets some garlic from the garden.
He prepares a paste of garlic and cheese (a moretum).
Symilus and Scybale eat breakfast.
Symilus gets dressed and goes out to plough his fields.
