CLAS210 Ancient Literature: Epic

Unit Exams

There will be three (3) unit tests. All will consist of identification of characters, important terms, sequence of events, and short essays which offer students an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of class lectures and text readings, to draw general conclusions about the material, and to evaluate their own attitudes toward the epics. In answering this essay questions you should be prepared to make reference to a variety of material, including class lectures, slides, text readings, and films.

Missing an exam is considered a serious lapse. Students who do not present an acceptable explanation IN ADVANCE of an examination or a valid medical excuse will be permitted to take a make-up, but will suffer a penalty of one letter grade. Each exam will be 15% of the final grade.
