This mosaic was created by the Hawken Junior Classical League under the guidance of art teacher Denise Buckley and art student Aysegul Ozsoyoglu.
It was partially funded by the generous support of the CPL. Each tile was handcrafted and handpainted. Then, the tiles were fired and glued into place. Currently the mosaic is prominently and permanently displayed in the Arts and Communications Building at Hawken School in front of the theatre.
