CAMWS Committee for the Promotion of Latin

The following CPL awards were announced at the 2003 CAMWS in Lexington, Kentucky.

• best newsletter: The Georgia Classicist, the newsletter of the Classical Association of Georgia, edited by Robert Burgess of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia
• best improved website: Ontario Classical Association (http://www.ontclassics.org/) maintained by Lucina Neuru of Waterloo University
• best CPL project: supplies for h.s. Latin students to work with Middle School students by Pam Phillips of Boonsville, Indiana
• outstanding CPL projects: Wisconsin
• outstanding state VP: Mark Williams of Calvin College in Michigan
• outstanding regional VP: Susan Shelmerdine of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
• outstanding high school promotional activity: N.W. Guilford High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, Sarah Wright, teacher
