Declamation Contest 2022 |

Contestants will submit their polished videos of
their declamationes by Friday, April 1, 2022 via flipgrid: https://flipgrid. The winner will receive a $100 prize. The winning declamatio video will be shown at the virtual national convention on Saturday, April 9, 2022, and will be posted on YouTube. Note: All videos become the property of Eta Sigma Phi, which can use them for promotional purposes. Submission of a video implies agreement to these terms. The winner of this contest was Michal Baxter of Theta Tau at Stockton University. Honorable mention was awarded to Madeline Davis of Iota Rho at Christendom College. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
affirms the rights and freedoms of all human beings. A committee chaired
by Eleanor Roosevelt drafted the Declaration for the newly-formed United
Nations in 1948. It was accepted by the UN General Assembly on December
10, 1948. Originally written in French, the Declaration is now available
in more that 530 translations in more than 300 languages,

including Latin!
