The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) affirms the rights and freedoms of all human beings. A committee chaired by Eleanor Roosevelt drafted the Declaration for the newly-formed United Nations in 1948. It was accepted by the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948. Originally written in French, the Declaration is now available in more that 530 translations in more than 300 languages,  (www.ohchr.org/en/udhr/pages/introduction.aspx), including Latin! This version was translated by students at the Liceo Ginnasio Statale "Socrate" Rome, Italy.

UNIVERSALIS DE JURE HOMINUM DECLARATIO

Praefatio
