Berry Glaze Pie

4 cups fresh or frozen berries
¾ cup sugar
3tbs cornstarch
1 cup water
1 8" baked and cooled pie crust

Mash one cup of smaller berries and cook for 2 minutes with 1 cup of water.

Mix sugar and cornstarch and stir into cooked fruit. Cook until clear. Put ½ remaining berries into pie shell and cover with the glaze. Cover with the rest of the fresh berries. Chill and serve with whipped cream.
