Aunt Minnie's Christmas Cookies
5 lbs of self rising flour
18-20 large eggs
2 cups of sugar
2 lbs of butter
1/2 cup of vanilla
1/2 cup of milk or powered milk
Mix all ingredients together and work them through. Cut sections
into rolls and cut accordingly, so that you can make bows or twists.
Bake in a 320 degree oven that has been pre-heated.
Icing: mix milk together with powered sugar. Measure milk
accordingly. If you want, add colored sprinkles to the icing after
you put it on the cookies to make them a little more Christmas festive. |
